1989 was a good year for the kind of music I like.

I like being able to tell the Squeezebox to shuffle all music I have released in 1989 (or whatever year).

I think I'm going to do this at work from now on instead of completely random shuffles. Each day I'll pick a year. It will be great.

for greatest hits albums, if you have them, do you use the year of the compilation release, or do you assign the original release date of each track?
