The conference is the normal schmoozing, meeting people having good discussions. More tonight, but I'm back at the room taking a small rest. And posting to LJ.
The view from my hotel room window. The gaudy red building is the Shilo Inn which is lined with red neon. Yes, it's as scary as it sounds.
The auditorium just before the opening keynote.
These are are in the middle of the street between each cross street. You can actually grab a flag, walk across the street, and cars will stop. I've done it. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that I was brandishing the flag like a crazy man. Or that sometimes I take two and wave them about. Someday, one of these is coming home with me.
I had two more of the convention center, but they are too small and will just have to wait until I can retake them. I'll try and take some indoor pictures tomorrow. I may even get one of me presenting.
