I'm now reading AlterNet on my Palm. You should too. Well, you can read it on the website, if you don't have a Palm (or a PocketPC since you can get AvantGo on that too.)

I got 2 books out of the library: My Life by Bill Clinton, and The Pleasure of My Company by Steve Martin. The former book makes the latter look like a pamphlet.

I know it was obvious, but My Life beats up The Pleasure of My Company. They're both pretty weak, though.

My Life to be the pie-eating one. Although toffee isn't out of the question either.

carbs make you doughy. and such is life for some of us!

I know if I wrote a memoir, even after being an important and successful president, I'd mention what I ate during it all.

And believe me, there's lots of pie in the book. Fried pies in particular. And back then, they'd have been fried in lard. Hillary made Bill a peach pie too, I'm assuming lard in the crust.

That is certainly how the sales at Strand reflect the conflict. It was a huge fucking crisis when we couldn't get Clinton to sign at the store and didn't sell out the first day.
