So I'm taking an online course this semester. I've never done this before. It might be fun. I have to listen to the lectures online (not live, prerecorded), look at the notes (literally PDF scans of handwritten pages) and read the textbook ($100 new--I went used). There's also a discussion board set up for this. Then, I show up twice at NJIT for the midterm and final (unlike my last class, they're closed book and notes, nothing but my brain) and do a project. For this, they charge both an "e-learning fee" and a "distance learning fee" so it's more expensive than a flesh course. Flesh course, that's what I'm going to call them from now on. I think it works well.
Anyway, should be fun. I really just posted to try out the new picture.
