which of these represents the old-fashioned kettle-popped corn. That stuff can be good if done right.

I think the "on the stove" method would cover you there.

Personally, I figured out my wok does a really good job. And, the heating of the oil keeps the wok well seasoned.

I thoroughly loathe microwaved popcorn, but since that wasn't an option, I selected the "I hate popcorn" but am applying it only to that.

do I eat microwave popcorn? yes.
do I prefer microwave popcorn? no way!
(though I will admit that the microwave carmel corn isn't too bad at all and the sweet kettle corn type stuff is fairly addictive to eat)
