We were trying to figure out how long it would take for new baby to be heavier than dobiecat (Adobe=18 lbs. Takes nearly a year, we guess) but this question is far more interesting. . .

Poll #138888 Cat or baby?

How old will our new baby be before it is smarter than dobiecat (assuming baby is normal developmentally)?

the cat will be living off of you for the rest of its life. The baby will more than likely support itself someday.
(by the way- congratulations on the new baby!)

Baby won't be here until September (kicking now does not count.)

The plan certainly is for the baby to support itself. However, we can leave the cats home alone all day and no one gets upset.
